Overview – The purpose of this aprogramme is to equip you with the relevant knowledge, skill and competence to skillfully lead other people in work-related tasks and activities. It will provide you with an in depth practical and theoretical understanding of the role and function of leadership in any business environment. Participants will evaluate their current leadership style and enhance their communication and organisational skills. You will develop the skills to effectively lead a team and promote a coaching environment
Management Vs Leadership / Leadership Styles & Situational Leadership
This module will help participants understand different leadership and management styles and their impact on a team. It will provide managers with a development opportunity which will set the foundation for sustainable team and company development while enhancing their personal capabilities in a highly transferable manner.
Interpersonal Skills as a Leader
This module will explain the elements of good communications skills (oral, aural, written, non-verbal) and practice those skills in a training environment and in the workplace. It will explore the structure of teams and the nature of team dynamics and practice those skills in the context of team leadership, motivation, delegation, conflict resolution.
Effective Team Building Skills and Managing High performance
This module aims to look at the role of the manager as a leader of a team. It will analyse how teams are built by developing the right mix of people and outline how they can be motivated by a confident leader. It will explore in detail what makes a team, how to build a high performance team, how to structure work in teams and ultimately how to get the most from a team.
Effective Project Management
The aim of this module is to provide participants with the principles of project management and use those skills to manage individual and group tasks towards a common goal.
Strategic Management / Leadership Planning & Development
This module will explore how personal and professional development can be achieved through reflection and planning and identify potential strategies to manage and facilitate different styles, independently, and/or, as part of a team

This course is suited to participants of all experience levels, including beginners and those who are expected to assume a leadership role, or who may already hold such a role, and for whom a recognised national qualification in Leadership is desired.
