Quality and Qualifications Ireland

QQI (Quality and Qualifications Ireland) is a state agency responsible for maintaining the ten-level NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications) and responsible for the external quality assurance of further and higher education and training in Ireland.

Optimum is an accredited QQI centre and training provider since 2007.

We run a wide range of qualifications on Levels 5 and 6 of the National Framework in areas such as Training, Coaching and Management Qualifications.

LIA

LIA is the Centre of Excellence for the Education and Development of Finance Professionals – dedicated to enabling and promoting the highest quality standards in financial advisory practice.

LIA provides education courses from level 7 to level 9 on the National Framework of Qualifications, as well as resultant designations such as Accredited Product Adviser (APA) and Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA). The QFA is a professional designation renowned as the gold standard for finance professionals with over 22,000 QFAs in Ireland, while the APA is a steppingstone to the QFA which will give you the foundations to build a successful career in financial services.

LIA’s courses are ideal for anyone working or seeking work in life assurance, credit unions, mortgage lending, pensions or investments, and lead to designations which meet the Central Bank’s Minimum Competency Code (MCC) requirements for selling and advising on certain categories of retail financial products.
